Commercial branding portraits for marketing materials

Bristol based Portland Brown serviced apartments launched in 2005. Just ten years later they have established themselves as one of the best companies looking after high quality apartments across Bristol and London.

Hacker has worked with the business for a number of years helping develop their online images to reflect the company’s brand. Portland Brown sell a high end hospitality service so the images need to be personal, welcoming, friendly, engaging, classic and fresh.

“When I photographed the Bristol team for a group employee shot at The Lazy Dog pub, I could tell it was going to be fun when the Jager and champagne came out at 10am.” Bristol photographer Hacker explains. “That’s certainly one way to relax your employees!”

On each shoot, Hacker visits Portland Brown’s offices and apartments in Bristol and London taking all the necessary equipment with him. During the shoots he has captured classic head shots of employees, employee group shots, portraits of staff at work and interiors so the company build an image bank to use online, in promotional material and even for a desk calendar sent out to clients at the start of the new year. Hacker also added graphics to some of the images to add an extra dimension.
